Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the Martakert and Shahoumyan regions

The Head of the State got acquainted with the Martakert-Vardenis highway construction process.
In the village of Eghegnut of the Shahoumyan region the President convoked a working consultation. NKR minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan and deputy executive director of the "Hayastan" All-Armenian fund Ararat Khlghatyan delivered corresponding reports.

Bako Sahakyan expressed satisfaction with the course of the carried out activities. the President put a special emphasis on the necessity of ensuring high quality of the construction strictly following the set schedule and within this context gave corresponding instructions.
Bako Sahakyan subsequently visited the construction site of a hydropower station being built near the Eghegnut village and inspected the carried out activities. The Head of the State noted that the Shahoumyan region had a great potential for hydropower generation adding that the state would do everything possible for the development of this sphere.
Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
