The Youth/Future of America

However, we always tend to get a surface level view of what’s going on and what people’s opinions are such as politicians, celebrities, and anyone who has a higher ranking position then us. Furthermore, from an outsider it might seem like everyone is at an opposition with the president, including the youth. It seems though that we never get the prospective of an ordinary person’s view of what’s going on or especially yet, teenagers. The immediate consensus was that their all rebellious millennials, however that’s not the case; the end result was very different and something we should really take into account but more on that later.
When expecting the answer you would think that of a very traditional superficial result, something you’d here on the news of how minors would respond like didn’t happen. The following is the opinions of three minors and their thoughts on the current political climate, due to their not wanting of their names put out it’ll be kept anonymous. Keep in mind that these people were selected on a basis that they don’t have much of an influence and to know of don’t really watch news that’s bias or any sorts, purely off what they know of what the countries current position is. First person stated that he’s supported Donald Trump from the beginning and continues too. Moreover, he still stands by on all the decisions Trump has made thus far, and believes that after Obama, which he didn’t speak highly of, Trump has so far gotten and will take America out this slump were in. He obviously loves Trump and agrees and supports every policy by him; he’s a little more traditional in a sense of a black and white philosophy but in the minority that like Trump. Here comes another person and she’s on the fence, in a very grey area, one who does not take sides. She states that she more so doesn’t approve of Trump but rather she notices that the country doesn’t like him and no matter what he’ll do there will be riots. She really didn’t have an answer in the situation just disappointment on how divided and scattered people’s opinions are. Here’s a person who doesn’t really take a stance and differs from older people’s viewings and really thinks in her own way, a way where the country comes first.
Thee last person is very interesting and shows how a lot of younger people really feel on this subject. He stated “I don’t care, and I don’t know.” So despite what a lot of people would want you to believe a lot of kids just don’t know. Moreover if they do they’ll be letting off more than they really know. With the three people interviewed it really goes to show the true mindsets of teens that aren’t spoon fed everything. Just like how one of the people interviewed came out and said that she really vaguely knows what’s going on but just knows that the country isn’t happy really shows how people feel like at a young age that never had anything to tell them otherwise, with the latter half saying he just doesn’t know. However, there is still people who genuinely have their own opinions now whether or not their gravely influenced by the higher ups or most likely, their parents, is definitely high chance but if they truly feel it’s right then all too them. The point is this, we have a lot of authoritarian figures dictating the countries mood and what’s right and wrong and influencing young minds on how they should feel but when interviewed some genially have their own stance and just a lot that don’t know what’s going on and don’t really have a stance or know what to do. Despite the statistics we always tend to get here are three minors who don’t have much of an influence and are an example of whether or not being republican or democrat is wrong but something we should make of an example of. We should really stop in influencing are youth, as some just don’t care, of what’s right and wrong and let them have an open mind, a very nonlinear and open way moreover letting them make their own decisions.
