Meeting with head of IPALMO research institute Gianni de Michelis

On 1 December Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met in Rome with head of IPALMO research institute, former Italian foreign minister Gianni de Michelis and a group of its researches.

Issues related to the state building process in Artsakh, its domestic and foreign policy and socioeconomic development, the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict as well as regional and global trends were touched upon during the meeting.
President Sahakyan highlighted the establishment of practical ties with leading scientific-analytical centers, considering it important within the context of developing analytical thought, carrying out well-rounded and objective research and a more integrated view of geopolitical processes.
Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Italy Sargis Ghazaryan and other officials partook in the meeting.
