FIREWORKS EXPLOSION Four feared dead and dozens injured at massive fireworks explosion in Spain

The explosion occurred just before 4.30pm in Baldrans near Tui in the province of Pontevedra in Galicia, north west Spain.

Up to 28 people could have been hurt according to some local reports.

The blast is said to have broken windows of properties in a 2.5 mile radius.

Police explosives experts have been sent to the scene to try to avert any more explosions.

Footage taken near the scene of the explosion showed plumes of smoke rising into the air and debris scattered all over the ground.

TUI mayor Vasquez Padin said the explosion had happened at a house where fireworks were being kept without permission.
