January 28 is celebrated in Armenia as Army Day, and this year marks the 23nd anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces

Our squad chiefs, corps commanders and army commanders can skillfully manage their troops, the servicemen under their command, which is a very significant factor. Our guys are heroes: President of the Republic of Armenia Serj Sargsyan

* Armenian Army has steadily taken the improvement path and is a reliable defender of our country’s borders, enjoys the international high appraisal and is considered as one of the most efficient in the region: Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan

* The Armenian Army is a people’s army; there is not a single family that has not been contiguous to in some way. The best sons of our nation have contributed to the establishment of the Army, and today, their brave sons devotedly carry out the sacred duty of defending the Motherland.
