Karabakh soldier killed in Azeri fire during presidential talks in Vienna

Nagorno Karabakh Defence Ministry reports that during the Vienna-hosted meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents Azerbaijan took steps to destabilizing the situation on the on the contact line.

On the night of May 16-17 Azerbaijani army violated the ceasefire agreement using various caliber firearms and an infantry fighting vehicle, as well as 60-mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers. Especially intense violations were registered in the southeastern (Hadrut) and eastern (Martuni) directions of the contact line.

As a result of Azeri violations Karabakh army soldier Khachatur Harutyunyan (b. 1996) received a fаtal gunshot wound on May 17.
