On November 25 Edward Nalbandian delivered an address on the foreign policy of Armenia at Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.Representatives of state agencies of Sweden, diplomatic missions, research centres and universities, political analysts attended the event. Minister Nalbandian answered numerous questions raised by the attendees regarding the foreign policy of Armenia, Armenia’s approaches on regional and international issues.

On November 25 a telephone conversation took place between Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Didier Burkhalter, President of the Swiss Confederation, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs as well as OSCE Chairpeson-in-office by the initiation of the Swiss side.During the telephone conversation numerous issues of the agenda of OSCE Ministerial Council which will take place on 4 and 5 December in Bazel were touched upon.

On November 7 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Jean-François Charpentier, the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to Armenia on the occasion of presenting the copies of credentials.Congratulating the Ambassador on the appointment Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that the new Ambassador will bring his important contribution during his mission in the strengthening and widening of Armenian-French special relations.

On October 16 Edward Nalbandian received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, Pierre Andrieu as well asAndrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

On October 16 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Marie-Pierre Poirier, the UNICEF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS.

On October 15 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Eric Fournier, Head of the Continental Europe Department of French MFA who has arrived in Yerevan to participate in consultations held between the Foreign Ministries.

On October 2 with the meeting between Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Irinej started the official visit.

On September 29 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Helen Clark, the Deputy Secretary General of the UN and the UNDP Administrator who has arrived in Yerevan.

Armenia welcomes the adoption of the Bill on September 9th by the Hellenic Parliament, which criminalizes the denial of genocides, recognized by the National Assembly of Greece.
